We support the UK Government’s goals. Here's how.

1. Aligning with Government goals

Our work contributes directly to the UK Government's target of deploying 70GW of solar by 2035. In 2023, we completed 5.5MW of solar across schools, and expect to complete 12MW by the end of 2024.

2. Addressing national challenges

in the context of the Governments net-zero by 2050 target and as outlined in the DfE's LocatEd report, the UK's education estate represents 37% of total UK public sector building emissions. Yet, 24,000 school buildings are beyond their estimated design life.

We can work with schools and local Government to find sustainable solutions to aging building stock. We understand the full market, planning and installation challenges and can work with school buildings from any era, while still ensuring the installation works for the school and maximises financial and carbon savings.

3. Celebrating sectors wins

The Government recently announced a £400 million pledged for community energy groups by 2035. We champion progressive steps such as these, and are committed to supporting other government initiatives that accelerate net-zero and foster the broader community energy movement.
